Pirates
EXT. PIRATE
SHIP – DAY
Evie is
standing at the stern of the ship with her 1st mate Lucky Rabbit
looking at an old worn treasure map.
She then looks
up across her ship towards the horizon. Excited about the prospect of adventure
she turns away towards the wheel.
As she turns
Lucky Rabbit is snatched from the rail by a hand coming from off screen.
A few seconds
later Evie turns to get lucky but he is missing. Shocked she looks about for
him.
He is being
held around the neck by Ethan, one of her crew. He looks smug and smirks at
her.
Evie puts her
arms on her hips.
EVIE
Mutiny is it?
Ethan puts
lucky down and draws his rapier and takes a fighting stance.
Evie also draws
her sword, a scabbard, and prepares to fight Ethan.
They start
fighting and Evie backs Ethan down the stairs to the main deck where she is
able to disarm him.
She then picks Lucky back up and looks at
Ethan.
EVIE
Walk the plank!
Ethan is held
at sword point and has no option to move towards the plank. He walks down it
slowly, pausing as he reaches the end.
He peers over
the edge, certain of his doom below in the watery depths of the Caribbean
ocean.
Evie watches as
Ethan considers his options at the end of the plank. She bumps the end of the
plank and Ethan falls to his ‘doom’.
EXT. PLAY PARK-
DAY
Ethan is
sitting at the bottom of a slide on a play park in a puddle whilst Evie stands
at the top on the wooden climbing frame with lucky being held lovingly in her
arms.
END.
